“Engineering Educators Respected in the Society for Imparting Professionalism in Students”
Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology & VIVA-the School by VVIT, celebrated respectfully the teacher’s day. Smt T.Lakshmi Kumari, a legendary teacher from Korukonda Sainik School as the chief guest and Dean of Koneru Lakshmaiah University, Sri A.Radha krishna visited as Guest of Honor.
On this auspicious occasion students & teachers paid their heart-felt floral tributes to the legendary guru Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was born on September 5, 1888 and the India's second president, a great scholar, philosopher and Bharat Ratna recipient.
Under the aegis of Music Club students, prayer songs were sung and a row of traditional dance performances by dance club students, engaged the audience. The icing on the cake was the Instrumental Music played by the VIVA students group and melodious songs rendered by them spellbound the audience.
After formally inaugurating the celebrations, Sri A.Radha Krishna, advised the teachers to maintain discipline, dedication and devotion towards their role as it is a holy profession. He said that the true teachers are those who help their students think for themselves. Sri Radha Krishna, stated that, teachers are respected for their continuous, selfless and precious efforts in shaping the future of the students. They are the reason to enrich all the quality education system in the country and process it continuously without getting tired, as emphasized by Sri Radha Krishna.
Smt. T.Lakshmi Kumari, on this special occasion stated that she nurtured best citizens from Korukonda Sainik School, who intern are producing again best citizens from their institute. Smt.T.Lakshmi Kumari, were the teacher of Sri Vasireddy Vidya Sagar, Chairman of VIVA-VVIT and Sri M.Sree Krishna, Joint Secretary of VVIT now.
She gave her best wishes to all the teachers and congratulated all the students to be successful in their future endeavors. She reminded the statement of Dr.A.B.J.Abdul Kalam, that, “If a country is to be corruption free and become a nation of beautiful minds, I strongly feel there are three key societal members who can make a difference. They are the father, the mother and the teacher”. She recited a famous Sanskrit Sloka about teacher which defines, a teacher as one who dispels the ignorance in students and enlightens with the knowledge.
Sri Sagar, Chairman of VIVA-VVIT, Joint Secretary Sri M.Sree Krishna, along with Principals & all teachers felicitated the distinguished guests Sri A.Radha Krishna and Smt.T.Lakshmi Kumari, as a token of deep hearted respect for being icon of professional teachers.
