Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology, under the aegis of its Social Awareness Club conducted a seminar on Personality Development & Social Awareness for Fresh Engineering students, as informed by Sri Vasireddy Vidya Sagar, Chairman of VVIT.
Sri Sagar said that this seminar is adorned by the popular motivational speakers as Guests, Sri Janarthan, AP State Secretary, Swadeshi Jagaran Manch and Sri Dasapathy, (Retd.) Deputy Educational Officer & Andhra Pradesh State Convener, Vidya Vikasa Samithi. Sri Sagar informed that, these distinguished guests conducted more than 100 Yoga and Personality Development Programmes under Make-In India, a Central Government Project.
Sri Dasapathi, while addressing the students, enlightened them about the importance of Bharath in introducing medicine, metallurgy, yoga and so many things to the world. He also opined that in the near future entire world will come to the feet of India believing in its sanctity and sovereignty. Sri Dasapathy also reminded the holy preaching’s of Swami Vivekananda for the youngsters and asked them to follow.
Sri Janarthan, the other speaker in his interactive and expressive speech, exhilarated the importance of Swami Vivekananda and his famous messages to the youth. Sri Janarthan, also did a impressive comparison of former President of India Sri APJ Abdul Kalam and Swami Vivekananda and reminded that both are strived for igniting the inherent abilities of youth till their last breath. Sri Janarthan, revealed how the “Igniting Minds” book of Hon.ble’ APJ Abdul Kalam, inspired and changed the life style of famous personality Sri Anna Hajary and became role model for many thousands of youth now-a-days.
Sri Janarthan also advised youth to bring laurels to India. He quoted that youth are NOT USELESS but they are USED LESS. He also educated the students about the ill-effects of Drugs and advised them to stay away from such a stuff to shun off their inferior nature and show off their confidence to participate in Make-In India.
Sri Sagar, in this regard, stated that VVIT is always a step-ahead for conducting this kind of motivational and personality development seminars for their students, which became vital in engineering education now-a-days.
Sri Sagar, Chairman of VVIT & other management members felicitated the Chief Guests of this Programme, as a token of grace for being such a highly motivational speeches.
