The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has accorded accreditation to three engineering braches of VVIT, Nambur. Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering branches have received accreditation yesterday, 19-01-2018 in an official intimation received from NBA. The recognition was granted after an inspection by a committee of the NBA Team in December 2017. VVIT has Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology branches already accredited by NBA on 2016, and with this latest accreditation, a total of 5 branches strengthened VVIT’s prestige.  VVIT is proud   to announce that it is one among the very few prestigious institutes in both Telugu States, which got this kind of rear achievement of having been accredited by NBA for 5 branches, with in 10 years since its inception.

Tthis accreditation has proven the infrastructural facilities and intellectual properties that VVIT has, were on par with the National Standards.  VVIT is the only institute which also got the NAAC ‘A’ grade within ten years of its establishment. Our efforts will continue even in large scale to serve the society with a even more broader vision & mission and VVIT always ponders over the all round performance and comprehensive growth of their students and thereby to fulfil the growing needs of all stakeholders. In this connection,  Chairman Sri Sagar congratulated the entire faculty for putting indefatigable  their dedication and devotion in teaching learning, research-development activities that are outcome based and constructive. He also stated that with this accreditation the students will get more opportunities in multinational companies and higher education chances abroad.

Principal Dr.Y.Mallikarjuna Reddy, of VVIT, in this regard stated that they applied for NBA inspection on 2017 and in the inspection held on December 2017, the high-level Expert Committee visited the institute and examined the EEE, MECH, CSE branches as well as the entire institute rigorously and have shown their satisfaction by according the accreditation to the 3 branches. Dr.Reddy, stated that, with this achievement the institute now has a total of 5 branches being NBA accredited, which improved their responsibility rather than being complacent.
