Dr.M.Y.Bhanumurthy, Senior Professor in the department of ECE received 'Education Award for Excellence' from Confederation of Education Excellence (CEE) during a conclave 'Transforming India Through Civic Education' held at Shangri-La Eros hotel at New Delhi on 02nd September'17.

Dr.M.Y.Bhanumurthy received the award from Haryana Governor Shri Kaptan Singh Solanki and Deputy CM of Delhi Shri Manish Sisodia for his contribution to best practices in teaching- learning and research.

CEE invited nominations for Education Excellence Awards all over the country. Out of nearly 600 nominations received, 42 nominations were shortlisted for the awards under various categories. The awards were given to individuals and institutions for their contributions in improving the quality of education. The award winners included teachers from schools, PG colleges, engineering colleges and universities. 

Dr.M.Y.Bhanumurthy was also the recipient of various state and National Awards in Teaching and Research and published papers in various national and international journals. VVIT encourages their faculty and students to improve their skill set in various diverse fields.
