Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology, under the aegis of its Guntur Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Student Chapter, invited Dr.Y.Raghu Reddy, IIIT, Hyderabad, an ACM India eminent speaker, to deliver his expert lecture on “Usability Evaluation of Mobile Applications” to the Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology students.
Dr.Y.Raghu Reddy in his lecture illustrated various niceties in the mobile application development that decide their success or failure, in which usability being the primary concern. He emphasized that the motive for the design of an app and its usability, both are equally important for its acceptance by the targeted users. He also addressed several tools that are helpful in evaluating the mobile applications usability in a swift manner and suggested several resources that are helpful to delve into.
Dr Raghu, also commended the efforts of VVIT in organizing this kind of informative programs to their students and lauded the functioning of VVIT Guntur ACM Student Chapters.
