Mr. Chegu Ramprasad, Assistant Professor, Department of Science & Humanities in Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology has been awarded with Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mathematics, by Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology and Research Deemed to be University on 06thJune, 2018 for his thesis entitled “Parametric study of different classes of fuzzy graphs: Isomorphisms, complements and regularity” submitted under the guidance of Prof. P. L. N. Varma, Department of Mathematics,VFSTR, Vadlamudi, A.P.
Mr. Chegu Ramprasad did his B.Sc. and M.Sc from Achrya Nagarjuna University, Guntur. He also pursued M.Phil degree from Alagappa University in 2007. He has published 07 Research papers in reputed International Journals with excellent impact factor and attended several Conferences.
On this occasion, Sri VasireddyVidyaSagar, Chairman of VVIT, stated that “Mr Ramprasad is our fourth Doctorate in Mathematics. Faculty of Mathematics are achieving remarkable progress in research activity. They are publishing various research papers in International and National Journals regularly. Many of them are publishing in Science Citation Indexed Journals. Faculty members are frequently presenting their output in their respective specialized conferences. We are delighted to encourage such research thrust in the faculty.”
Mr. Chegu Ramprasad, humbly mentioned that the work done by him can be utilized for decision making, image segmentation and image processing.He explained that through his research work, an effort was made to focus different classes of fuzzy graph theory.
Mr. Ramprasad thanked his parents & family for providing all the required impetus needed to complete his thesis. He also thanked hissupervisor and other faculty for their guidance during the research. He expressed his sincere gratitude to the Management, Dr. Y. Mallikarjuna Reddy, Principal;especially Prof. M.V. Raghuram, Head of the Department S&H for the constant support extended to acquirehis Ph.D degree.
All the faculty in the Department of S&H congratulated Mr.Ramprasad for becoming the first receipient of Ph.D in Mathematics from Vignan’s Deemed to be University.
